As you all may or may not know, I was recently featured on etsycouponcode.com. I just answered a few questions about my work and my business, etc. It was pretty exciting! You can still view it here but only for a limited time. I am offering 50% off everything at my shop until January 31st! Just use the code CELEBRATE2011 when checking out!
I also had the pleasure of doing an interview of my own with Amir, the founder of etsycouponcode.com!
Etsy Coupon Code is a great resource for anyone interested in shopping on Etsy! A potential buyer can easily search for what you are interested in, whether it's clothing, books, housewares, or toys! There are tabs on the left of the site so you can easily choose your category and find all the coupon codes that match.
Etsy sellers are able to choose whether or not they want to post their coupon for potential buyers to find on etsycouponcode.com.
This is the interview:
Are you the owner of Etsycouponcode.com?
Yes, I'm founder and CEO of etsycouponcode.com.
When did you start Etsycc?
I started this site on Dec, 2010 when Etsy rolled out coupon facility for sellers.
What made you decide to start the website?
As you know the general rule for coupons is that they can't be delivered at the point of sale. And most of the Etsy sellers don't have enough resources and budget to market their coupons and products besides using social media so I thought there should be a platform where etsy sellers can submit their coupons and buyers (Especially discount savvy people) can look for coupons.
Tell me a little about yourself.
My name is Amir, I'm 29 years old. I completed my graduation in computer science in 2004. Presently, I'm running an IT company. I conceived many web and social apps ideas including South Asia's most favorite Facebook app named Baba Fooka.
Where are you from?
I live in Lahore, Pakistan.
Are you a frequent buyer or browser on Etsy.com?
I'm frequent browser of handmade sites and I study handmade eco system a lot. I'm a big fan of Etsy.
Do you have a favorite shop or designer?
Well, the list is big! I won't be able to take one or two names but I guess everyone is doing a great job.
Thank you Amir!
I strongly urge you to check out this site! It really is a great resource and will certainly help shoppers and buyers alike!
