Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

Headed to Rochester this past weekend in hopes of doing really well at the Corn Hill Arts Festival. I don't like saying bad things but I was more than disappointed. Though there were thousands of people walking the streets the sales were slow. Not only for me but for many others as well. I'm an honest person so I am not going to pretend that the weekend was a success so if I hurt your feelings because you love this event, I'm sorry.
I am certainly learning that until you set up and sell at events like these, you won't know how it will go for you. While many people said great things about the event, there was no way to know how I would personally do until I put myself out there. Needless to say, I don't think I will plan on attending that event next year.

I did however, have a few sales and met some really lovely people. I really appreciate those who stopped by
and gave words of encouragement!

On a better note, I'm so pumped for the Chicks Along the Canal show in Little Falls, NY! This is certainly one of my favorites of the year! It's August 11-12 so don't miss it!

I also just found out that I will be at the Harvest Fest in Sharon Springs, NY!

  1. Well, at least you got into Corn Hill. That's more than I can say for myself. I'm so sorry you did not do as well as you hoped. Hell, I had high hopes for you!! Your line is so unique and cutting edge. Maybe the squares who live in Rochester are just not ready for your awesomeness!

Congrats on getting into chicks on the canal! Sounds like a good one!
