No power...no problem.

Due to the lack of power yesterday, I spent most of my time hand sewing some hair accessories, deciding on a design for a gift certificate and putting together some accessory cards. I also painted my nails again! Check out what I have so far.

Busy Life=Illness?

It seems to me that I have been running around so much lately and I may or may not be coming down with something. I suspect Mono but I really hope not. I just haven't been feeling myself at all lately.
Either way, I have another craft show this Saturday from 10A-6P. I'm pretty excited about it. It sounds like it's going to be a really good time! It on the Main Street in Amsterdam, NY. Fun fun.

I have been doing a bit more sewing lately but like I said, I haven't felt 100% so I have certainly been slacking off a bit, I hope it doesn't come back to bite me. Anyway, I just wanted to write a short update on what's been going on in life. Pray for my health! I need to stay strong so I can keep crafting and going to the craft shows!!

Glimmerglass this weekend!

Sorry I've been slacking off so much this week with posts. I've been super busy running around visiting family and of course sewing. I've also been painting some items too.
This weekend is my first outdoor show in Cooperstown, NY. It's at the Glimmerglass State Park! I'm pretty excited about it, there is a lot going on that day! Classic cars, a bouncy house, craft classes, as well as tons of craft vendors! I think it's going to be a great day! The craft show is from 10AM-4PM so I hope to see you out there!

Today I plan to set up my booth again with my tent just to see how it will look. I'm constantly changing my mind about how I want my space to look. Hopefully I can find something I will stick to..probably not though. Haha.

Craft show, Mother's Day, and a new hat.

The craft show I had yesterday was pretty fun! I was able to spend some time with a friend of mine who has her own clothing business too called DRD Designs. She's great!

Busy day!

Today I had some errands to run and a dentist appointment. I apparently have to get my wisdom teeth ripped out and I'm not very excited about it. They are starting to bother me though and according to my dentist they are growing in sideways, (pointing into my other teeth). So this means if they grow through they will start to make my teeth crooked; now considering the fact that I never had to have braces to get straight teeth, I don't want to need them. Therefore, my wisdom teeth need to go.

Have you gotten your wisdom teeth removed? Did it hurt?

I also did some Mother's Day shopping and business shopping too! I finally purchased a hand truck/cart. It's going to help SO much. After the Mayday! Sale I was so tired out it became obvious that I needed to get one. I got a good deal too at Harbor Freight. I look forward to having that!

Happy May!!

I had a great time at the Mayday! Underground Sale! Met a lot of great folks including this great artist - Robert Frank. I bought a few things from him. His work is just SO amazing!

My booth space was great, I requested to be near the restroom so that people could try items on if they wanted to and that's just where they placed me. It worked out really wonderfully. Quite a few lovely ladies tried items on which was so exciting for me. It just makes me so happy when people enjoy the work that I have done. Here are a few shots from my travels.

Rochester Bound.

Good morning all.

This morning I am preparing to start my travel to Rochester for the Mayday! Underground Sale! I couldn't be more excited! A little getaway all by my lonesome plus an awesome show to sell at!? What could be better!? I am staying in a quaint hotel, by quaint I just mean the cheapest, non insect infested place I could find. Haha.
Either way, I am ecstatic for this trip. I plan to leave about noon so I can get to the hotel and relax all evening, hopefully in the pool or gym...if it has either. I haven't even checked.
I am also so happy about my new hair. I took a few more photos like I promised.

Mayday! Sale Prep.

So yesterday I set up my booth in my living room just to see how it would look and to decide if I had to make any adjustments.

I think I like it pretty well. More than likely when I get to the show this weekend I'll make some changes but as of now, I like it. Obviously you can't see the clothes rack in these photos but it's to the right of the big table.

Myrtle Beach bound & an early Easter.

This evening my friend of almost 20 years, Amanda and I will be heading South to Myrtle Beach for a little R&R. The sad thing is-we will only be there for 2 whole days and 2 nights. It better be worth it! I know we will be doing a lot of dancing so keep and eye out for those photos! Lots of fun!! Until then, my lovely mother gave me my Easter gifts early. Not that I was even expecting anything since I don't really celebrate Easter for the gifts or the bunnies or whatever. Easter to me is the celebration of Jesus raising from the dead to prove that He has overcome the world. Yay!

However, this is what my mom gave to me this morning:

Good morning everyone!
I decided to take Monday off from a post, I hope you didn't miss me too much. Actually I hope you did miss me because I missed you guys!
Anyway, today I have lots to do, I have been going tanning a little bit...I don't usually do such things and it's quite foreign to me but I am going to Myrtle Beach next week (only for 3 days) and I don't want to get too burnt while there. I figured getting nice base tan wouldn't be too bad for me...I guess? This is what I am wearing this morning.

After I get back from tanning, I plan to do lots of sewing for the Indie Garage Sale! It's only 4 days away! AHHHHH!!! It's getting down to the wire! I'm sort of nervous, I'm sure it'll be fine but still, it's nerve racking! My cousin is going to be helping me there so that helps.

Rotterdam Mall Weekend Fun.
